Morning Ladies and Gents. Astrid here. I took a week off. Yay. First week off since 2018.
OK, it wasn't really a week off because I worked all week.
But when is work not work?
When you're writing a short story in the caves of south east Spain.
There was the wind trying to form tunes across the mouth of the cave, the occasional bat flutter echoes and a very wet stray dog, who I called Perra, who lay on my coat for a while.
And the persistent peace. You really can imagine anything you want on a cave wall. It was wonderful.
I feel....inspired. And to mark my inspiration, I'd like to interest you in a free resource.
